How we handle your information
Samson Cleaning (“we”, “us”) provides residential and commercial cleaning across Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. This policy explains what we collect when you request a quote or book a clean, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- What you send us: your name, phone number, email address, the area of Oʻahu you are in, your home or office size, and any notes you add to a quote form.
- Service records: appointment dates, the services performed, access instructions you share, and notes from a completed clean.
- Basic technical data: standard server and analytics information such as pages viewed and approximate region, used to keep the site working and to understand which services people ask about.
How we use it
- To prepare and send your flat quote, and to schedule and perform the clean you book.
- To contact you about your appointment, including by phone, text or email.
- To keep internal records of services performed and to improve our service quality.
- To meet legal, insurance and accounting obligations.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
When we share information
- With our own cleaning team members and supervisors who need it to complete your service.
- With service providers that help us operate — for example scheduling, messaging, payment processing or website hosting — only as needed to provide that function.
- Where required by law, or to protect the safety, rights or property of our clients or our team.
Access instructions and property access
If you give us a lockbox code, keypad code or key, we use it only to access your property for the scheduled clean. We store it securely, limit it to the team assigned to you, and delete or return it when you ask us to.
Retention
We keep quote and service records for as long as needed to provide service and to satisfy tax, insurance and legal requirements, then delete or anonymise them.
Your choices
- Ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
- Opt out of marketing messages at any time; you will still receive messages about a booked appointment.
- Hawaiʻi residents may also exercise rights available under applicable state privacy law by contacting us.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed to serve the pages and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending sensitive details such as door codes through the website form.
Children
Our services are booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date.
